The Urban Golf Academy
At Urban Golf Academy we love golf and we want to share that love with others. Why do we love golf? We believe it to be the perfect sport, one that combines physical and mental agility, interactive teamwork and individual goal setting. Golf offers opportunities to improve not only personal fitness and athletic development but also mental preparedness and shrewd judgment. It is because of all these elements that we feel golf is so important for the development of young minds and bodies and why we believe so strongly in learning the sport at a young age. The Urban Golf Academy seeks to overcome the obstacles of climate and readily available courses to provide your child with the golf instruction they need right here in the city. Using a dynamic variety of methods, Kate and her team work with SNAG’s (Starting New at Golf) training tools to create a learning environment that is interactive, exciting and lively--- even off the golf course. Our mission is to make learning fun and to have that joy carry over into every facet of your child’s life.

The beauty of SNAG I see is that it engaged Lilly to visualize the position of her feet on a clock and form letters with her arms reinforcing the work she is doing in school. Also the audio feedback componet really allowed her to focus in on her movements, resulting in a very graceful and balanced golf swing. Good work Kate
